Hey! I’ve been a faithful listener since Don & Mike came to WJFK years ago. I listen to your podcast every day, and also Mike’s podcast on 105.9. Yes, I guess I’m a radiophile.
I wanted to say I feel for RJ. However, unlike him, I did not know it was coming. I’ve worked for the same company Full Time almost 21 years, and last Tuesday I was told I’m being cut back to Part Time, beginning this week. My dick boss knows my family can’t take a 50% pay cut, so this is just the beginning to getting a “Reduction in Force” notice. I turn 55 in Dec., and I really don’t know where to even look for another job. Who wants to hire someone my age? I don’t have the IT knowledge RJ has.
