  1. Hi there! Long time listener and love you guys. I’m trying to support you as much as possible by shopping through your advertisers. Just a suggestion, have you guys considered setting up a page with all your advertisers’ links? It would be even more convenient than sitting and waiting for the banner ad to switch to the next offering.

  2. I have listened to Mike for over 20 Years. This is his BEST work ever. The show is doing a great job at keeping the listeners entertained. My Hats off Gents! Great Job and Thanks EssaDee GeneralTgrant

22yr+ listener GMU alum now living in Boston. Boy do I feel old :) I agree with Tim Grant’s comment that this is the BEST work ever. Life can give the best material. I know the guys get frustrated when they see the success of some of the other podcasts, but I think what they have is better. It may take longer to build, but TMOS has a loyal fan base that wants to spread the word and that’s what lasts long-term. Keep the faith guys….and girl :)

  5. Guys…can you please ask Oscar to stop ” hissing” when he laughs? Hard to listen to show when it sounds like a flat tire. First, we couldn’t get him to talk…now he sounds like a Bolivian Anaconda….please stop!!

    Thanks
    Craig

  7. Mike, to assume some / many of the re-enactors are racist because they are all white and might have suggestive bumper stickers I think is idiotic. If a room is all black, or all Asian, or all middle eastern and many carry unique emblems is it right to assume they are bigots? You could be a racist for suggesting many of the re-enactors might be racist. By the way the civil war did not end slavery. Go online and do research into how many children around the world are kept captive as slaves. Also do research into how many adult women are held captive throughout the world as slaves. Both are kept as slaves for sex and labor. Many of these slaves exist within the U.S. and some are forced to be prostitutes in the streets of D.C. This underground form of slavery is at least as large as the African slave trade of the past and are mistreated no less harshly. I love your show Mike but quit being a racist and ignorant about the facts of slavery.

Mike is no more a racist than Martin Luther King Jr. He is open and tolerent to all other warm and happy people. If he is intolerent, it is intolerence of stupid or ignorant peole who do not appreciate that diversity is a wonderful part of America. He is welcoming to all, and take great delight in skewering with humor those who deserve to be skewerd,

You sound like such a f*cking hump, man… Civil war reenactors are just necky LARPers. Pretty much every white guy that sports a rebel flag says the N word when only other white people are around. As a listener, you oughta know how such an obnoxious comment will be received. Go twirl your mustache and stick a ramrod in your butthole while you jerk off in front of a picture of Stonewall jackson, fantasizing about beating your slaves. Reenact the battle of Essadee, and use real bullets…

  8. Has anyone else noticed that John Boehner has not cried in public – not even once – during the entire debt ceiling debacle? Someone, somewhere, has GOT to be making book on when Boehner will burst into tears.

Alvaro, fuck off. Mike is not racist, nor is Robb. Actually, the rest of us sit on the sidelines and think how retarded you re-enactors are. I wish you would re-enact the scenes from Shawshank Redemption or Deliverance.

  10. While the show is on Labor Day vacation, I’ve been listening to an old recording of the Don & Mike Show that I’ve never heard before — the 1994 Elvis Death Day in Memphis.

A couple of observations from a 2011 perspective:

    1) Mike apparently got pretty drunk and speculated that his drinking days might be over. (Kinda sounds like 2011…)

    2) Robb (everyone called him Bobo back then, not sure why) sounded much younger back in 1994. Listening to what sounds like a 12-yr-old Robb is sort of creepy.

Looking forwards to the post Labor Day return.
